Your Donation to Grandview Kids Supports:
Audiology
Identify infants who are born deaf or hard of hearing, or who are at risk of developing hearing loss in childhood through the audiology program.
Physiotherapy
Help kids move by building endurance, strength and coordination through physiotherapy.
Occupational Therapy
Create more opportunities for children and youth to participate in the activities of daily living through occupational therapy.
Speech-Language Pathology
Allow children and youth to communicate by having speech, language and communication needs to be addressed through the speech-language program.
Social Work
Support the psychological, social and emotional well-being of children, youth and their families while respecting differences and the need for confidentiality.
Therapeutic Recreation
Invite children and youth to play through therapeutic recreation that helps them learn, gain confidence and interact.
School-Based Rehabilitation
Deliver therapy to school-aged children and youth in publicly funded schools in Durham Region.
Medical Services
Medical specialists at Grandview Kids work closely with their clients’ family physicians and offer consultation, assessment, and diagnosis services.
Autism Services
In partnership with the client and parents/caregivers, provide different types of services, tailored to meet clients’ specific needs and goals.
Family Engagement
Provides the opportunity to meaningfully connect with other parents who share similar experiences of parenting a child who has special needs.
