We are so grateful for the loyalty and understanding of our Grandview friends during this uncertain time. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to help Grandview kids and their family members who are facing significant challenges.
With the help of our caring community, Grandview Kids has been able to respond to families in the best ways possible right now. This includes:
- Reaching out by phone, video chat and using tele practise to provide support
- Bringing more than 1,200 families together on our Parent Support (OPS) Facebook page to share resources and participate in online events such as virtual coffee chats, dance parties and art classes
- Providing urgently required services such as a Muscle Tone clinic, ensuring equipment needs are met and offering select appointments to support clients with pain or other urgent issues
Donor support of the Grandview Kids Believe Campaign has allowed us continue to provide service delivery through virtual tele practise (all Grandview therapists are working!) while providing some short-term innovation and strengthening our capacity to meet the long-term needs of Grandview kids in the future.
