Because of her diagnosis of autism, Molly has spent a lot of time evolving her personality and expanding her communication skills over the years. Grandview Children’s Centre has helped Molly by providing speech language therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA-based Autism Services.
Molly’s mom Erin has enjoyed seeing her daughter exceed expectations. “We didn’t realize she had such a sense of humour,” Erin says. “She loves making us all laugh!”
Molly also enjoys spending time with horses and has benefited from therapeutic horse riding. She used to want to be a farmer when she grew up, but has lately been talking about being a “Mommy” instead. She just started grade five this year and when she’s not at school, has been spending time with her new dog, Tucker.
