Deer Creek Cares began in 2013, intending to raise funds for local charities in the Durham Region. Deer Creek Cares is dedicated to supporting programs and initiatives of local charities.
Employees of both Deer Creek Golf and Coughlan Homes contribute a dollar amount of their choice biweekly to Deer Creek Cares Charitable Foundation. Each month, an employee is randomly selected to choose a charity within Durham Region to donate $500.
